Every set of Fischer skis has a flex rating. The flex rating is the amount of weight required to compress the camber. The same length of ski can have a significantly different flex rating. Sometimes a shorter ski has a stiffer flex rating than a longer ski. Most of our weight ranges are based off the flex rating that was originally printed on the ski. If the weight ranges seem inconsistent between lengths, this is why.
The Fischer Twin Skin skis are ideal for someone who wants to ski at an athletic, kick and glide pace. If you are looking to ski at a relaxed walking/shuffle pace, we recommend renting the spider 62 skis.
